Aerials silks, also known as aerial tissue is a circus apparatus and a type of performance in which an artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a fabric. The fabric consists of polyester lycra that hangs from the ceiling and is used to wrap, suspend, drop, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various positions.
